Humber Renewables Awards 2017 – Excellence in Renewables Skills and Training

Unity Training are delighted to announce that the Pathway to Employment programme funded through Green Port Hull and delivered by our team here at Unity Training has won the Humber Renewables Award for Excellence in Renewables Skills and Training.

The awards, hosted by the Hull Daily Mail and Siemens took place on Thursday 9th March at The Deep, showcased the brightest and best talent and businesses involved in the Renewable sector.

The successful Pathway to Employment programme, is a 10 week programme aimed at getting unemployed individuals back into work within the manufacturing and renewables sector.  The programme has placed 54 from 86 completing participants

into employment.

James Hartwell, training manager for Unity Training was in attendance alongside Scott Brown, a participant on the programme, to collect the award.  James had this to say about the award win “I would like to thank Hull Daily Mail for nominating the programme and the judges for selecting us. I would like to thank the whole of the delivery team, as they are an integral part of the programme and the organisation. Winning this award will promote our training offer and business.
